In addition, it is a tremendous winter food for your deer which will help them survive the rigors of post-rut and winter and come into the spring/summer antler growing and fawning season healthier and stronger. This fast germinating, inexpensive mix of bi-annuals is designed for that late season (August- September) planting. It establishes itself before winter sets in and deer love it. It grows best in areas that receive full sun. It is frost tolerant and is a good, high-energy food for deer prior to winter. Seeding rate is 25 lbs. per acre (seems like a lot, but is due to the larger seed size).

Mix contains Winter Wheat, Winter Rye, Winter Peas, Forage Radish, Purple Top Turnips, Dwarf Essex Rape & Common Vetch.
